This herb inspired styled shoot with One.Fine.Day is filled with romance. Set in a lavender field with vintage furniture from One.Fine.Day's hire company Heirloom and exquisite handwritten menu's by Australian Aleksandra. We selected romantic blooms mixed with garden herbs for the bouquet and table settings and a simple olive leaf to top the amazing ruffle cake's by Cup and Cake Queenstown.
Love this shoot!!

Nicholas and Kimberly - January 2011
I love these images by Mike Whitaker of Nicholas and Kimberly's wedding on Auckland's north shore earlier this year.
'Just picked' bouquet's were well suited to the relaxed nature of this wedding, with shells collected from local beaches and used as buttonholes, and tied to the bridesmaids posies. Cow Parsley (otherwise known as roadside weeds) were included in the bouquets to give that wild and untamed look.
Check out this video montage for more great images. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eJmseNIvWI.

The Owl and the Pussycat
It was a delight to work with Shani and Luke on their March wedding at the Dome in the Auckland Museum this year. Shani had designed the wedding invitations with reference to the Owl and the Pussycat. Inspired by the innocent storybook nature of the theme we created a sweet and innocent style for the bridal party and table flowers. For the tables, quilted jamjars tied with stripe ribbon were filled with palest pink dahlias, blue hydrangeas and tweedia. Paper flowers were tied to the aisle chairs for the ceremony and the girls all carried armfull's of dahlias, roses, hydrangeas and soft grey foliages.
A stunning couple, a fabulous looking wedding.
